QTSD, through the Highfield awarding body, offer a number of assessor and verifier qualifications.
'TAQA' stands for:
T...raining
A...ssessment
Q...uality
A...ssurance
These qualifications are for people that are working in, or looking to gain entry to, roles in Assessment and Internal Quality Assurance.
They give the opportunity to gain an understanding of the roles and/or to develop and improve practice, leading to a nationally recognised qualification.
The qualifications consist of a mix of units - some competence-based and some knowledge based. They will be assessed through a portfolio of evidence.
The following qualifications cost £525, including VAT:
For Assessors:
Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment
Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement
For Internal Verifiers:
Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice
